- Establish the necessary skills for successful interscholastic high school and, hopefully, college careers.

Plymouth Rocks Youth Lacrosse recently joined the Spring Township League (STL) - a competitive league dedicated to growing the sport across the South Shore, Cape Cod and South Coast.
As we work toward building a stronger, more competitive program, players will be placed on either the Select or Town teams based on player evaluations by the coaching staff. The benefits to this type of breakdown are significant:
- Stronger players will have the opportunity to participate at a higher level on the Select team
- Select coaches can spend more time on strategy and game situations, building greater lacrosse IQs and more confident players
- Town teams will place more emphasis on improving skills and becoming accustomed to the speed of game play
- Players at both levels will have an opportunity to compete against players with similar skills, which will build their confidence and give them more playing time than they may have had in the past
- Players at both levels will be able to play up or play down.* Players on Select that are not getting as much playing time, or Town players that are excelling, will have an opportunity to play both Select and Town.
*The coaching staff will have discretion to invite players to play up or down. Decisions will be based on player commitment and performance and the needs of the team.
