Matt Magoon Former PRYL Player Name 1st Team All-NCAC
by posted 05/12/2013

Plymouth Rock Youth Lacrosse is proud to announce that Matt Magoon, a graduate of PRYL, was recently named First Team All North Coast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper for 2013.

Matt, who is a junior, team captain and three-year starter in goal for Division III College of Wooster men's lacrosse team, earned his first postseason award after posting a career-high .609 save percentage while starting all 15 games between the pipes. That percentage ranks in the top-40 among 208 Div. III lacrosse teams, as does his 7.75 goals against average. Matt totaled an NCAC-best 165 saves, highlighted by 20 in a tough 10-7 loss at then-No. 11 ranked Denison University (March 23).

Matt will work as a goalie instructor at Cape Cod Lacrosse's Goalie Camp this summer.

Congratulations Matt.

Former PRYL Player Honored by Boston Globe
by posted 04/12/2013

Former Plymouth Rock Youth Lacrosse girls lacrosse player, Isabella O'Connor was honored with a Globe South High 5 on April 10th. Below is the text from the Globe South.

Isabella O’Connor , Notre Dame (Hingham): It might be easy get overshadowed on a team with four Division 1 recruits, but last week, the Plymouth resident was at the head of the class. She had four goals and an assist vs. Bishop Fenwick (18-4 win) and five goals vs. Ursuline (20-5 win); she’s on her way to matching the 52-goal, 16-assist totals from her 2012 sophomore season.
